Entertaining hero Allari Naresh, who is known for offering slapstick comedies, is ready to do supporting character in other hero films if he is offered a substantial role with significant screen time in the narrative. Previously, he appeared in a pivotal full-length character in Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi and impressed audiences and critics alike.
Now, Naresh has agreed to play an important role in Akkineni Nagarjuna’s upcoming film Naa Saami Ranga which is an official remake of Malayalam period drama Porinju Mariam Jose. Reportedly, the makers have approached Naresh with a solid role and the latter has no qualms in giving the nod as it is a narrative-altering character that will bring his acting mettle to the fore. This development has been in news for a long time.
Naresh is impressed with the character arc and agreed to allot dates immediately because Naa Saami Ranga is aiming for Sankranti release. To accommodate himself, Naresh decided to keep his upcoming film on hold and complete this film first due to the commitment.
Naa Saami Ranga is helmed by debutant director Vijay Binni. The first look teaser received a thumping response because of the mass elements and Nag’s ferocious screen presence.
