BRS MLC Kavitha has urged all the political parties in the country to extend their support for the Women Reservation Bill.
In this context, Kavitha has sent a special letter to the chiefs of 47 political parties which includes BRS, Congress, BJP, SP, BSP, YSRCP, etc. requesting them to support the Women Reservation Bill in the special sessions of the parliament. She tried to explain the need for reservation for women in the legislature. Kavitha emphasized that 33% of the seats can be allocated for women in Lok Sabha and the state legislature.
Kavitha also made it clear not to see this issue in a political context rather extend their unconditional support by keeping away all their differences and act unanimously on this bill
