Akkineni Akhil waiting for Peda Kapu-1 release

After scoring an embarrassing debacle with Agent, Akkineni Akhil turned extra cautious while choosing directors for his future commitments. He is not blindly trusting their previous track record before signing the projects. He is instead making all efforts to ensure that the director doesn’t disappoint after the film goes on floors.

Akhil’s next project, tentatively titled Dheera’ will be helmed by debutant Anil Kumar. At the same time, Akhil is likely to team up with sensible filmmaker Srikanth Addala. Recently, Addala met Akhil and narrated a line. Impressed the with narration, Akhil sounded optimistic. But, he is yet to give the nod to the Brahmothsavam director.

Reports suggest that Akhil is waiting to see the box office result of Addala’s next outing Peda Kapu-1 which is set for release very soon. The intense trailer and impactful posters of Peda Kapu-1 received a thumping response. There is a good buzz on the film in trade circles. So, Akhil wants to find out how well Addala made this rustic entertainer.

Akhil is likely to take a call on Srikanth Addala’s project after the release of Peda Kapu-1. Meanwhile, he will start working on Dheera towards the end of this year. It will be a socio-fantasy thriller to be made on a staggering budget.
