Surveys indicate a decline in the vote bank for BRS

The ruling party of Telangana, BRS has been gearing up for the general elections of 2023 in December but the party is said to be bagging anti-incumbency. According to the latest surveys, the TRS turned BRS is actually in decline as far as vote banks are concerned.

A reputed organization called Telangana Intentions Organization led the latest survey among the voters of Telangana and concluded that more than 51% of people are against the BRS Government and only 38% are in support of it. According to the statistics, the BRS Government got an overall decline of 3% in the total vote bank compared to that of 2019’s elections making it tough to regain power for the third time and score a hat trick. The surveys also indicate a decline in the vote bank for T-BJP but shockingly an increase of 2% for Congress in Telangana.

The political experts point out the strategy of KCR by announcing 115 MLA candidates prior to any political party to clear all the party’s internal conflicts and to have an advantage over others thereby working for the best results. But this completely backfired as some leaders are completely dissenting towards KCR and BRS and they are all set to leave the party. Also, the fact that urgent transfer of funds for farmers made the voters believe it was an election stunt as most of the farmers are yet to get their debts cleared by the BRS Government. For sure the elections of 2023 in Telangana will be interesting as it seems to be not easy for the BRS this time.
