After RRR, NTR’s next film Devara will hit the screens on April 5, 2024. The shooting formalities are progressing at a brisk pace in Hyderabad and the makers are planning to wrap up the entire filming by the end of this year and dedicate ample time for the post-production activities.
Devara is touted to be an action entertainer set in the backdrop of coastal lands. The story revolves around an island and the majority of the scenes will have a sea backdrop. NTR will be seen as a chieftain Devara who takes on the opposition led by the menacing Bhaira played by Saif Ali Khan.
Reportedly, some of the action blocks in the film will take place inside water. This is the first time an Indian film will have one-of-its-kind underwater action sequences that are going to be breathtaking.
NTR and Koratala Siva are attempting a different genre with Devara and the action episodes are also going to be completely different. As there is no precedence, this is a very risky proposition to mount action scenes underwater. To bring authenticity to these episodes, NTR is getting intense training to pull off them convincingly.
NTR and Koratala are taking a huge gamble by trying unique storyline with never-before-seen action elements. They should be mindful that these episodes come out exceedingly well or else they will disappoint the moviegoers. They should ensure that the action scenes are presented convincingly to impress the viewers.
A great amount of VFX will used for this film to make it a visual extravaganza. So, Koratala should be wary that every frame is picture-perfect so that the film is immune to criticism.
