Mahanati fame Keerthi Suresh tasted mixed results in Tollywood. She secured as many hits as flops in Telugu films so far. She recently appeared in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Bholaa Shankar and couldn’t make much impact in a substantial role. After her rewarding performance in Dasara, Keerthi got a new lease of life in Tollywood. The Nenu Local actress is now approached for meaty characters in Telugu, but she is unable to adjust her dates due to her busy schedule.
As per the latest reports, the makers of Naga Chaitanya’s next film Thandel Raju have approached Keerthi Suresh to cast her as the leading lady. Though she initially gave assurance to the makers, she has not yet signed the dotted line as per our exclusive sources. Reportedly, Keerthi Suresh is likely to back out from this project because she has a jam-packed itinerary in Kollywood. She signed four Tamil films which are in different stages of production.
Due to a clash of dates, Keerthi is finding it difficult to green signal Naga Chaitanya’s film. To be directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the film’s shoot will start from the last week of October. So, the makers are likely to cast another actress if Keerthi confirms that she cannot adjust her dates. They are waiting for her final word.
Naga Chaitanya will be seen as a fisherman in this film which is inspired by real incidents. Geetha Arts banner will bankroll the film.
