The Central Government has released the results of its 69th National Awards and apart from SS Rajamouli’s spectacle RRR which swept 6 National Awards, it is the production house of Mythri Movie Makers, which made their mark.
Mythri Movie Makers won three awards for two of its movies at the National Awards. Their first Pan Indian movie ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ fetched them two awards- one for the Stylish Star Allu Arjun for ‘Best Actor Male’ and another for the rockstar Devi Sri Prasad for a blockbuster album of ‘Pushpa’. Both Allu Arjun’s acting skills and DSP’s chartbusters like ‘O Antava Mawa’ and ‘Mera Adda’ made the jury to make these two winners. Not stopping there, Mythri Movie Makers bagged their third award with their productional venture ‘Uppena’ which came silently but ended up as a blockbuster later. Uppena won the ‘Best Regional Film’ starring Vaishnav Tej and Kriti Shetty and directed by the talented maker Buchi Babu Sana.
Excited about the national recognition, the production house Mythri Movie Makers is now making big-ticket movies. Their immediate next is the sequel ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ and they are planning for a bigger release across India than the first part.
