Kollywood star hero Dhanush’s 51st project was officially announced in style this morning. Tentatively titled #DS51, Dhanush is associated with the critically acclaimed Telugu director Sekhar Kammula.
On the happy occasion of Dhanush’s birthday, the makers revealed the first look poster of the movie #DS51 as it marks the combination of Dhanush and Sekhar Kammula. The poster looks intriguing depicting two shades of the society- Rich and Poor, divided by a stack of money bills in 100s. Going by the poster, one can expect the movie will be along the lines of Sekhar Kammula’s ‘Leader’, a hard-hitting social drama on the ups and downs of society. However, the makers managed to win the attention with just one poster and now the buzz has rocketed as they wish to experience a unique experience narrated in Kammula’s style. This is the second film of ‘Dhanush’ in Telugu after ‘Sir’ and needless to say, #DS51 will be made as a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu which would also have a Pan Indian release as dubbed versions.
This movie is produced by the Asian Cinemas owner Suniel Narang and Pushkar Kumar jointly with a decent budget. According to the sources close to the director, this movie will be launched officially in the month of August and will finish the shoot by this year’s end. The project is expected to hit the silver scenes in the month of February 2024 after the Pongal competition.
