The announced project of Daggubati Rana, ‘Hiranyakasipu’ is trending in the news due to the controversy raked between the hero and the senior director Gunasekhar. For one and forever, Rana cleared everything with just one magical tweet.
The production house associated with the hunk Rana, ‘Spirit Media’ revealed the working pictures and animation sketches of the project ‘Hiranyakasipu’, indirectly explaining that the project is indeed original and didn’t steal from anyone including Gunasekhar. Apart from that, this project is being made from the base storyline taken from the infamous ‘Amara Chitra Kadhalu’ which was famous in the 1970s and they are one of the associate producers of this project. This fact shatters the copy idea as they officially gave their nod. In this regard, even if Rana copied the idea from the director of ‘Okkadu’, the story didn’t even belong to him as it was either taken from ‘Amara Chitra Kadhalu’ or from the Hindu scriptures itself and everyone has the right to make a movie about it.
The controversy started when Gunasekhar posted a cryptic tweet slamming Rana and accused him and his father Suresh Babu that they stole his idea of ‘Hiranyakasipu’. With Spirit Media’s revelation, Rana was said to be given the perfect answer for the director and cleared the controversy.
