The Central Government in today’s Parliament session declared that it has granted all the promises more or less by now and a few are being implemented. It also asked the two Telugu States to solve their internal issues in this regard.

The MPs of two Telugu States have participated in the heated debate in the ongoing Monsoon sessions of the Parliament and the TDP MP Rammohan Naidu demanded the Center to fulfill all the promises done during the AP Bifurcation Act. Singing to the same tune, the Congress MP of Telangana, Komatireddy too asked the Center to aid AP by granting all the funds. Responding to the MPs of Telugu States, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Nithyanand Rai claimed that the BJP-led Central Government already completed 90% of the promises made that includes funds for the Polavaram Project, South Coastal Railway HeadQuarters, Establishment of Universities and funds under CRDA to construct capital. He however ruled out the Kadapa Steel Plant as the committee which did the research declared that the area is not suitable to construct a steel plant. At this juncture, Rai asked the governments of the two Telugu States to solve the internal issues and assets distributions amicably without the involvement of the Center.

The Union Minister also stated that a Special Joint Task Force was formed solely to work on the AP Bifurcation Act and they are on the way to completely fulfill the promises given by the past and present governments. Now that the Center has declared that it has given everything, the ground results within the state of AP are nil, which is worrying the residents of the state.
