The inevitable has happened. The other day, we published an article about Harish Shankar’s dilemma over the delay in the resumption of his current project Ustaad Bhagat Singh with Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. We reported that he is unable to decide whether to wait for Pawan or to move ahead with Ravi Teja’s project.
Now, reliable sources revealed that Harish Shankar has decided to put Ustaad Bhagat Singh on the back burner and start working on Ravi Teja’s film. As per the reports, Harish will reunite with Ravi Teja for the third time after Shock and Mirapakay for an action thriller. It will be a remake of the blockbuster Bollywood film Raid starring Ajay Devgn as the main protagonist.
Raid is a realistic story based on the Income Tax raids held on a rich industrialist in the 1980s. The film emerged as a big hit in North India.
Ravi Teja will reprise Ajay Devgn’s role as an IRS officer. Harish Shankar is fine-tuning the script to suit the sensibilities of Telugu audiences. Renowned production house People Media Factory is going to pool resources for this film.
Ravi Teja is currently busy with his upcoming films Eagle and Tiger Nageswara Rao. He has a couple of other commitments after wrapping up these two films. So, Harish Shankar will need to wait a minimum of four months to direct Ravi Teja.
