The most happening star of Tamil Nadu, Vijay has shocked his fans with his latest announcement regarding his film career. The renowned actor is all set to quit films to enter full-time politics in order to serve people.
Thalapathy Vijay enjoys one of the biggest fan bases in entire India and he is known for making films that grossed 200 crores easily despite the movie’s talk. Such a hero, who is at the peak of his career has decided to enter Politics. One of the highest-paid actors in Kollywood earlier announced that his party ‘Vijay Makkal Iyyakkam’ would work for the people of Tamil Nadu and for that, he would temporarily quit films for three years. However, the actor who completed the regular shoot of his upcoming release ‘Leo’ has engaged with his fans and leaders of the VMI party. This morning, Vijay met fans cum future leaders of his party in his office in Chennai and declared that not just a temporary break, but he will completely quit films after the completion of his next with Venkat Prabhu and concentrate entirely on politics. Since the general elections of Tamil Nadu happen in 2024, Vijay wants to give it a try.
On the work front, his film ‘Leo’ completed the majority of its regular shoot and is getting ready for its worldwide release on 19th October 2023. Apart from this, the actor has only signed his next with ‘Mankatha’ director Venkat Prabhu.
