The top-tier leaders of the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee headed by Chief Gidugu Rudra Raju called in for a press meeting this morning to deliver an important update regarding the party’s future protest.
Addressing the Press in Andhra Ratna Bhavan in Vijayawada, Rudra Raju stated that the leaders of AICC will launch a protest at the Dharna Chowk in Vijayawada on Wednesday. In the name of ‘Mouna Satyagraham’ this one-day protest is for their ex-Chief of AICC, Rahul Gandhi, and the cases booked against him by the BJP-led NDA government. Raju claimed that Modi and his Government had been intentionally harassing Rahul Gandhi and registered various cases against him and went to the extent of disqualifying him from the Parliament. Angered Congress leaders of AP wished to showcase their protest by remaining silent all day against the BJP Sarkar. Not stopping there, The APCC Chief declared that BJP and RSS are trying their best to not get Rahul any relief from the cases that are registered against him. Raju questioned why Modi is still silent on Rahul’s Challenge of forming a Joint House Action Committee to probe into Adani’s alleged scam.
Other leaders like APCC Working President Sunkara Padmasri, State legal cell chairman Gurunadam, and other regional leaders like Narasimha Rao, Kumari, etc graced this press meet and declared their support for Rahul Gandhi.
