Pooja Hegde looking for offers in second-tier films

Pooja Hegde was once a bankable actress in Tollywood. The Mumbai beauty was in much demand for big-ticket films and was paid a hefty remuneration by our filmmakers when she was ruling the roost. She shared screen space with all the top stars of the current generation. Unfortunately, her stardom took a beating with back-to-back debacles. Moreover, the stiff competition from new heroines impacted Pooja’s career and resulted in a dearth of offers.

Pooja took an unceremonious exit from Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram which was her only notable offer in Tollywood this year. Now, she is left with no offers in any language. So, she is looking to grab chances in medium and low-budget films. Reportedly, she has slashed her remuneration by 50 percent and is also willing to sizzle in item songs.

As offers dwindled so swiftly, Pooja is looking to stay familiar with Tollywood. She is ready to sign films with second-tier heroes. Usually, heroines refuse to sign medium-budget films once they enter the top league. But, Pooja Hegde has no other option.

Speculations are rife that Pooja is in talks to appear in an item song in Guntur Kaaram. However, there is no official update on this buzz. She is likely to team up with Sai Dharam Tej in his new film which is going to be produced by Trivikram Srinivas.

It seems like she wants to revive her career by accepting whatever offers come to her irrespective of the budget and cast of the film.
