NTR – Prashanth Neel film to get delayed ?

KGF director Prashanth Neel surprised everyone when it was revealed that his upcoming film Salaar, starring Prabhas in the lead role, is going to be made in two parts. There has been a lot of suspense on this development for many months and it was finally confirmed when the teaser of ‘Salaar: Cease Fire’ was out a couple of days ago.

Now, many questions are making rounds about the second installment of Salaar. As the first part will hit the screens in September, there are doubts over the release of the second part. Also, there is no clarity on when will the shooting formalities be completed because Prabhas is already occupied with other projects.

Meanwhile, the announcement of two parts of Salaar has raised a new doubt about NTR31 which will see Neel uniting with NTR. This project was supposed to roll out in March 2024. The makers gave an official update on this for NTR’s birthday. But, it looks highly impossible to kick start the shooting formalities as planned by the team.

If Prashanth Neel plans to release Salaar 2 in the Summer of next year, then NTR31 might be delayed indefinitely. Reports suggest that NTR will move to War 2 after wrapping up Koratala Siva’s Devara and wait for Neel for a few months. In all probability, NTR31 will start rolling in the second half of 2024.

NTR31 will be shot predominantly in abroad. Neel will present NTR in a never-before-seen role in this big-budget entertainer which will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts.
