The first teaser of KGF director Prashanth Neel’s Salaar, fronted by Prabhas, Shruthi Haasan, and Prithviraj Sukumaran, received a tremendous response after it was unveiled on July 6th. The nerve-jangling teaser packed with a goosebump-inducing action sequence featuring Prabhas in a formidable avatar has stormed YouTube immediately after its launch.
In 24 hours, the teaser tore apart numerous records with more than 80 Million views. Now, the teaser has clocked 100M views in two days and it is still trending at the number one spot on YouTube. It garnered close to 20 million likes and set a new benchmark for upcoming biggies.
The first installment is labelled as Salaar: Cease Fire and it is said to be a part of Prashanth Neel Cinematic Universe. The makers have thanked everyone for the overwhelming response and announced that the theatrical trailer will be out in the last week of August. They promised that it will showcase the grandeur of Indian cinema.
Salaar is carrying mammoth expectations in all territories. Trade circles are betting big on this film and the pre-release business is likely to quite sensational as the makers are quoting astronomical prices in all areas.
Salaar is slated for release on September 28th.
