Vegetable prices in the markets in the country are soaring up high. Day by day, the prices are going exponentially high. Be it Okra, Bitter Gourd, Ridge Gourd, Potato, and Onion, the rates are so high that normal people can’t be able to afford them. Apart from these vegetables, here comes Tomato which usually ranges between 40-50 per kg in tough times has risen to Rs. 150 per kg.
So normal people have stopped consuming Tomato and on the other hand, even Tomato farmers aren’t seeing any profits. It’s the dealers who are making a mockery of the prices. However, a person from Chattisgarh, Raipur… Congress corporator Hardeep Singh started to distribute free tomatoes to the public. His people wore a Modi mask and by this scheme, he is criticizing the Modi government for not controlling the vegetable prices which are essential in people’s daily lives.
