Nikhil Siddhartha’s pan-India outing SPY failed to capitalize on a big start as collections went down drastically due to discouraging reviews and poor word of mouth.
It is a known fact the film didn’t have a proper release in many territories due to a lack of ideal planning and last minute rush in finishing the final copy. This is why Nikhil was against releasing the film on the announced date. He wanted to postpone the film to have a proper release in North India and Overseas and also to promote it aggressively. Unfortunately, producers didn’t pay heed to his instructions.
Now, Nikhil tendered an apology to audiences in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam for not being able to deliver content on time. While thanking everyone for giving the biggest opening in his career, Nikhil promised that his next three films will release in all languages with a proper release date.
Nikhil also said they will never compromise on the quality whatever pressures may be there. He said they will make sure a Finished, Checked and Fantastic product is given to all. Nikhil’s apology letter is now going viral on social media platforms and it remains to be how producers react to his statement.
