The President of the Indian Youth Congress wing, Rahul Gandhi is all set to shift his focus on Andhra Pradesh. The young leader of AICC wants to strengthen the sleeping Congress in Andhra post-bifurcation.
Ex-Parliamentarian Rahul Gandhi after finishing his Khammam event to protest against the ruling party BRS has met crucial leaders of the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee and held some briefings regarding his future course of action. Shifting his focus from Telangana to AP, Rahul Gandhi stated the AP is suffering from tons of issues from lack of capital to the Special Category Status. So he pledged to take part in a huge rally to revive Congress in the state. As this is not enough, Rahul Gandhi promised to agitate against the privatization of Vizag Steel Plant this month in Visakhapatnam while his sister Priyanka Gandhi visits Amaravati and fights for the capital against the ruling party.
Rahul Gandhi declared to the Congress leaders that all parties in AP-YSRCP, TDP, and Janasena directly or indirectly support the BJP which is the root cause of all the issues in the state. He claimed that if Congress comes to power in 2024, he will grant all the bifurcation promises to the people of Andhra.
