Finally, the Telangana state government has come up with the de-addiction centers in the state and after the bifurcation has been done, the Telangana state hasn’t created any de-addiction centers to date.
After the court responded very harshly to the delay made by the state government, the KCR-led government has come up with one each in all the 33 districts of the state. De-addiction centers deal with persons who are addicted to alcohol or any other kind of drugs. The de-addiction centers will give free treatment and therapy thereby helping the people to come out of it. Yoga and counseling sessions will also be taken to all the persons and make sure they develop the resistance to not having it again in the future.
The Andhra Pradesh state government developed the de-addiction centers back in 2014 itself and consist of 18 centers in its 13 districts. Whatever, this initiative taken by the government would definitely be a helping hand, especially for the poor.
