Mahesh Babu prefers mass this time

Superstar Mahesh Babu reunited with Trivikram Srinivas for the third time after Athadu and Khaleja. Though the principal shooting of this untitled film commenced last year, only a minor portion of the talkie part has been wrapped up till now. The team is now taking a Summer break and the shooting formalities will resume in the first week of June.

Meanwhile, Trivikram is planning to reveal the title on May 31st as a mark of respect to Superstar Krishna coinciding with his birth anniversary. Reportedly, Guntur Karam is the title locked for this much-anticipated film. Trivikram initially considered Amaravati ki Atu Itu and Ayodhya lo Arjunudu as the titles for this film. However, Mahesh opted for Guntur Karam because he wants to go with a mass title this time.

Sources close to Mahesh revealed that he wants a full-length commercial entertainer before moving on to SS Rajamouli’s global film. Though Trivikram preferred a soft and poetic title like his previous films, Mahesh Babu didn’t accept his proposal and locked a massy one.

Reportedly, Mahesh has asked Trivikram Srinivas to make this an out-and-out masala entertainer with all ingredients. Accordingly, Trivikram made necessary changes and infused more mass elements into the script. Mahesh Babu’s recent outings focused on highlighting various social issues. However, this time it will be full-on mass drama for the Srimanthudu actor.
