As the High Court’s final hearing on YS Viveka’s murder case is nearing, the CBI officers of the Telangana branch intensified their investigation. This time, they investigated a couple of assistants in Pulivendula.
A team CBI consisting of six sleuths reached Pulivendula on Sunday to deepen the probe. With the evidence and information they already had, the officers wanted further clarifications so they straight up went to the Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy’s house and met his personal secretary K Ramana Reddy. They grilled the assistant for a couple of hours and at a point in time, officers took Ramana Reddy to the nearest helipad in order to know why his boss Avinash went to the helipad on the night of the murder. No one knows what their doubts are but the investigation went longer than expected. After finishing with Ramana Reddy, the CBI team also met the computer operator at Vivekananda Reddy’s house, Inaitullah, and collected some information. Pulivendula had witnessed the rush of officials within the constituency on Sunday with this series of investigations.
Meanwhile, Avinash Reddy’s anticipatory bail has come to the hearing and political experts opine that he is less likely to get bail provided the evidence is strong against him. The stay on the High Court’s judgment by the Supreme Court of India also cleared all obstacles to the CBI to give their best in the investigation in order to arrest Avinash Reddy.
