A big commercial hit is long overdue for both Natural Star Nani and talented actress Keerthi Suresh. The long quest finally ended with their latest offering Dasara which is running successfully in Telugu States and Overseas. The Srikanth Odhela directional is on the verge of attaining hit status at the box office after embarking on a stupendous start last Thursday.

Dasara couldn’t have arrived at a better time in their careers for both Nani and Keerthi Suresh. They have been desperately waiting for meaty roles that bring their acting mettle to the fore. And, Dasara provided exactly what they needed. Nani and Keerthi shone effortlessly in their de-glam roles as they packed a punch with their performances. With this timely hit, they can now heave a sigh of relief.

After scoring big hits with Nenu Local and MCA, Nani couldn’t bag commercial success in the last four years. Though he delivered good films like Jersey, Shyam Singha Roy, and Ante Sundariniki which won huge critical acclaim, box office success has evaded him as they didn’t mint big money. So, he needed a solid box office hit that reinstates his market. His wait seems to have ended with Dasara. What is more impressive is that he made a comeback with a debut director.

On the other side, Dasara turned out to be an important film for Keerthi Suresh as well. After the success of Mahanati, she set big sights in South cinema. Unfortunately, she didn’t get solid roles that unleash her acting potential. Now, the success of Dasara and her chirpy performance will provide a good fillip to her career.
