After RRR, it is going to be ‘Game Changer’ from Mega Powerstar Ram Charan. Yes, you heard it right. The title of his upcoming film with accomplished director Shankar Shanmugam at the helm is revealed this Monday morning through an interesting and scintillating glimpse. The 43-second video snippet is designed brilliantly to give a sneak peek into the theme of the film while revealing the title.
The video starts with a top-angle view of a Roulette board and as the camera moves towards it, the numbers get replaced by minimalist figurines of what presumably look like elected representatives and the marker transforms into a ‘King’ in Chessboard which displaces all others with the power of ‘Viking Sun Cross’ symbol. The title is then revealed as Game Changer. The intriguing music score by Thaman makes the setting more interesting. Surprisingly, there is no announcement of the film’s release date in the glimpse.
The glimpse drops a hint that Ram Charan’s role and the story will be set in the backdrop of elections. It seems like Shankar is taking on the system of elections in India with this film. As speculated earlier, Charan will be seen as an IAS officer in one of the two roles played by him. Titles like CEO and Sarkarodu were initially considered by Shankar. However, he locked Game Changer as it aptly suits the story and Charan’s role in the film.
Kiara Advani is the female lead and SJ Suryah is essaying a significant role in Game Changer. Karthik Subbaraj provided the story and Thiru handled the camera.
