Trivikram and Mahesh put check to Dil Raju

Surprisingly, the makers of Superstar Mahesh Babu starrer ‘SSMB28’ ( working title) gave an impromptu announcement about the release date last Sunday evening. Usually, release date posters come with a lot of fanfare and publicity. However, team SSMB28 suddenly announced that the film will hit the screens on January 13th, 2024. While many in the industry circles are scratching their heads about this unexpected announcement, it is revealed that there is a big reason behind it.

Trivikram Srinivas, the director of this much-anticipated film, is yet to finalize the title. This is the reason why the makers couldn’t unveil the first-look poster for Ugadhi. They hinted that it is likely to be out on Sri Rama Navami festival. But, they now announced the release date without the title because they want to lock the Sankranti slot even before Ram Charan’s upcoming film.

It is a known fact that the first look poster of Ram Charan’s film will be out on Monday morning as a birthday treat. There is a strong news that producer Dil Raju is also aiming to book Sankranti slot with this film. Sensing that Dil Raju will announce Sankranti date along with the first look poster, the team of SSMB28 came up with an unforeseen announcement a few hours before Charan’s birthday.

Already, Prabhas’ upcoming big-budget entertainer ‘Project K’ has locked Sankranti berth. With SSMB28 also joining the race, Dil Raju will be in a confusion over the release date of RC15. As SSMB28 announced the date first, Dil Raju has no other chance but to postpone the film to Summer 2024. Trivikram and Mahesh cleverly put a check to Dil Raju’s tactics.
