The sequel to Allu Arjun’s biggest blockbuster, Pushpa : The Rise, is undoubtedly one of the most eagerly awaited upcoming films of the season. The massive and unexpected pan-India success, especially in the North circuit, has triggered unprecedented hype for the second part, the shooting of which is currently progressing at a brisk pace. Titled Pushpa: The Rule, the follow-up to the rustic entertainer is likely to hit the screens in the first half of 2024.
Surprisingly, Sukumar and his team are shooting for the film without much ado. They are silently wrapping up the shoot without giving any formal updates on the progress despite heavy pressure from the hero’s fans. As there are mammoth expectations for the film, Bunny has reportedly asked the team not to give regular updates which might result in too much hype and unnecessary expectations.
The makers initially planned to release a teaser to announce the start of the sequel. But, they dropped the idea as Bunny suggested not to amplify the hype further. Bunny and Sukumar decided to keep the buzz low-key until some time. They want to unveil the first glimpse and other updates at an appropriate time. They knew that the sequel has already garnered high expectations than what they initially expected. So, they are now concentrating more on coming up with an impressive output that will match all the hype and hoopla among moviegoers across the country.
