YSRCP leaders warn TDP about their false propaganda

Monday, December 23, 2024

The riots in Gannavaram between the TDP leaders and YSRCP supporters resulted in many arrests of TDP cadres including its spokesperson Pattabhi. While the TDP leaders and a part of its supporting media find fault with the YSRCP behind these riots, the leaders of the ruling party have hit back at these claims.

Ex-Minister of YSRCP, Kodali Nani condemned the tall claims of TDP that YSRCP was behind these riots and declared that none from the ruling party had been involved in actual riots. He went further and stated that it was the TDP leader Pattabhi who attacked the Police and in reverse complained that he had been attacked. The MLA of Gudivada criticized the TDP Chief’s visit to Pattabhi’s home alone ignoring other 11 TDP leaders who were arrested only to declare that the CBN has shown casteism as Pattabhi hails from the same community. Nani also declared that a huge chunk of media that supports TDP dared to make false news and propaganda about the YSRCP Government.

The Minister of Irrigation, Ambati Rambabu in a separate press meeting lashed out at the TDP for their false claims. Pointing to the fake photos published by TDP-supported print media, he demanded an unconditional apology from all such media that fabricated false stories about the riots. All in all, YSRCP has got a chance to give it back to the opposition after a huge gap. One of the print media that is a natural supporter of TDP had published age-old photos of Pattabhi with injuries in its daily paper outlet and it created a sensation. After research, the photos were proved to be dated back two years and the respective news outlet was speculated to have ousted a couple of employees for its embarrassing act.
