Ex-MP of Congress, Undavalli Arun Kumar has called in for a press meeting on the 9th anniversary of AP-Telangana Bifurcation Day. Exactly on the 18th of February 2014, the United AP was divided into two states by the then Congress-led UPA Government in the most unconstitutional way. Reminding the same, Undavalli recollected the day by stating that despite his fights to stop the bill, the doors of the Parliament were closed by suspending all Telugu MPs along with stopping the live coverage.
In this regard, the lawyer turned congress supporter who is known for sarcasm in speeches to make them interesting took time to give a sweet warning to the Telangana CM KCR, who is the sole reason for the bifurcation. Pointing out his national aspirations of becoming a National leader, Undavalli asked the CM to please walk the talk to prove his commitment. Arun Kumar claimed that about Rs 1.42 crores of rupees are yet to get from the Telangana Government and KCR didn’t give the amount despite completing nine years.
Not stopping there, Undavalli asked KCR to clear hurdles for Polavaram if he has a love for National politics and neighboring states before his plans on expanding BRS in Andhra Pradesh. Also, he asked to settle water issues and release the due amount of Godavari water before he pledges to remove water issues among the Indian states. Finally, Rajamahendravaram leader of Congress asked KCR to add those Andhraites who migrated to Telangana back into BC and provide them their due reservation.
