TDP to regain many constituencies back in 2024?

Friday, December 20, 2024

The opposition party of Andhra Pradesh, TDP is going strong with each passing day. Reports from a reliable survey declare that the party will re-conquer many of its lost seats in the coastal region of the state.

TDP along with the alliance of Janasena and BJP came to power in 2014 but the poor performance of some of its MLAs along with the party’s dual stand of ‘Special Package’ made the voters go for an alternative. In addition to that, the aggressive campaigning and Padayatra of YSRCP Chief Jagan and his magical ‘Navaratnas’ made an impact on the commoners which resulted in the loss of TDP. However, the margin of TDP MLAs was quite small as they gave tight competition to the newcomers of YSRCP.

Cut to the present, the ruling party YSRCP within its three years of governance proved to be not so worthy as things were worse than that of TDP’s regime. The sitting YSRCP MLAs are not at all solving the issues of locals and more than anything, they are completely unavailable to the general public. The anti-incumbency was seen when the ruling party MLAs went for “Gadapa Gadapaku’ as the voters sent the leaders back. According to the latest surveys, TDP is again gaining momentum as the leaders are in contact with the voters and maintaining good relationships so there will be at least a gain of 40 seats overall this time in 2024 for TDP.
