The Telangana Government has its day in the Assembly for the Budget of the fiscal year 2023-24. Upon declaring the Union Central budget as a failure, all have set their eyes on the KCR’s way of dealing with the budget in Telangana, keeping his future national political aspirations in mind.
The Finance Minister T Harish Rao introduced the budget with a total of 2,90,00 crores of rupees for the year 2023-24. The Revenue expenditure stands at Rs 2,11,685 crores and the capital expenditure is about Rs 37,525 crores. Unlike the central government, the KCR’s camp concentrated on burning issues like Farmer’s aid and pensions for the old people along with the CM kits for the poor including the KCR’s special ‘Dalitha Bandhu’ schemes targeting SCs and STs.
