Megastar Chiranjeevi scored a huge blockbuster with his latest outing Waltair Veerayya. With the confidence gained from the stupendous success of this film, Chiru immediately resumed shooting for his next project ‘Bhola Shankar’ in the direction of Meher Ramesh. Bhola Shankar is tentatively scheduled for release during Summer 2023.
Now, the much talked about topic among Mega fans is who will helm Chiranjeevi’s next project after Bhola Shankar. There is a lot of discussion happening in the industry circles as well regarding Chiru’s 156th film. Reportedly, Chiru is very keen to release a film for Sankranti 2024 after seeing the massive success of Waltair Veerayya during Sankranti this year. He is looking for a director who can wrap up the film in a quick time.
Chiru has several options like Puri Jagannadh, VV Vinayak, Maruthi, Surender Reddy and Prabhu Deva. All these directors are ready to helm Chiru’s next film. Every one of them is working on their scripts to narrate to Chiranjeevi very soon. As Maruthi is currently busy with Prabhas’ film, he might be ruled out of the contention. Sources revealed that Chiru is likely to lock the director before wrapping up Bhola Shankar and immediately commence shooting without taking any break and get the film ready for release in January 2024.
