After the Tamil filmmaker, Lokesh Kanagaraj confirmed his future next with Vijay Thalapathy, the makers of the halapathy67 announced the names of the lead cast of the film earlier today.
Interestingly, the Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt will be part of Thalapthy67. Welcoming the talented actor onboard, the production house and the financers of Thalapathy67, Seven Screen Studio took to their official social media handles and wrote- ‘We feel esteemed to welcome @duttsanjay sir o Tamil Cinema and we are happy to announce that he is a part of #Thalapathy67. #Thalapathy67Cast #Thalapathy @actorvijay sir @Dir_Lokesh @Jagadishbliss.’
As we know that after his performance as Adheera in KGF Chapter 2, Sanjay Dutt has been receiving various offers from the south film industry.
After Sanjay Dutt, the makers have now welcomed the south actress Priya Anand with a tweet saying- ‘Guess paniteenga nu theriyum, but first time kekra mari nenachikonga nanba. @PriyaAnand is officially part of #Thalapathy67. #Thalapathy67Cast #Thalapathy @actorvijay sir @Dir_Lokesh @Jagadishbliss.’
Priya who is a known actress in the south was last seen in the Kannada action drama James opposite Puneeth Rajkumar under Chethan Kumar’s direction. Released in March of last year, this is Puneeeth Rajkumar’s posthumous appearance following his death in 2021.
Apart from Thalapathy67, Priya Anand also has various films lined up including Andhagan, Sumo, and many others.
Coming back to Thalapathy67, it is known that Vijay Thalapthy and Lokesh Kanagaraj have already teamed up for the 2021 action film Master as this film marks the second collaboration of the duo. As per the buzz, the film is a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU).
