Tamil star hero Vijay Thalapthy who recently stormed the theaters with his Pongal release Varisu is now gearing up for his next with Thalapathy67. As we know that the duo has already teamed up together for the 2021 action drama Master. Despite receiving mixed to negative reviews from audiences and critics alike, Master managed to collect more than Rs. 250 crores worldwide and went on to become a commercial success at the box office.
Now sharing his excitement about the future project, Lokesh Kanagaraj took to his social media handles and dropped a picture of him along with Vijay Thalapathy and captioned it as- ‘Good evening guys! More than happy to join hands with @actorvijay na once again #Thalapthy67.’
The film which is said to be a part of the filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LSU) will begin its shooting schedule soon. Tamil popular production house Seven Screen Studios is bankrolling the film.
Music sensation Anirudh Ravichander will work on the strings of this film while Manoj Paramahamsa will handle the cinematography and Philomin Raju will supervise the editing works.
Meanwhile, more details about the film’s lead cast have yet to be announced by the film unit.
