The Jagan-led YSRCP government is doing everything it can to reduce the pressure of paying the pending salaries for government employees. The advisors of the ruling party came up with an alternative that is now testing the patience of employees.
Going into the details, the AP Govt has passed a new circular to its employees stating that their salaries shall be reduced for all the latecomers to the offices. According to the internal circular, all the government heads of the departments are directed to have the attendance registers exactly at their desk by 10:10 AM every day and the employees should complete their signatures in the attendance registers between 10 to 10:10 AM. Those who sign after 10:10 shall have cuts in their monthly salary. This new notice has come into effect immediately from today and shocked the employees.
Frustrated employee unions already started their protest within their offices and now the union heads are preparing to stage a huge protest against the AP government. They might also get the support of opposition leaders who already found fault with delaying salaries and pensions over the last three months.
