Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa has been making headlines these days with the recent slipper hurling incident. It is known that Darshan was recently attacked by a miscreant with a slipper at the promotion of his upcoming film Kranti.
After the news acme out about the disturbing incident, many celebrities from the Kannada Film Industry including Kiccha Sudeep, Sumalatha, Shiva Rajkumar, Dhananjaya, and others have come together and extended their support to Darshan.
According to News18, In reacting to this love and support from his fans and the sandalwood colleagues, Darshan took to his social media handles, and wrote a lengthy note in the Kannada language which translates as- ‘I realize that my celebrities are hurting more than me at this point. Such events make a person stronger and not weaker. We have seen similar examples in our own Kannada land.’
The note further reads as -‘Thank you to all the friends and actors of the film industry who stood for justice at this time. Thanks also to some who tried to steer this event down the wrong path. I have been saying since the beginning that if there are a hundred people who want to spoil it, then there will be millions of our celebrities. This slave is forever indebted to your loving embrace.’
Speaking about Kranti, the upcoming Kannada action film is written and directed by V. Harikrishna and produced by B. Suresha with Shylaja Nag under the banner Media House Studio.
Starring Darshan, Rachita Ram and Ravichandran in the lead roles, this action drama is slated to entertain the audience on January 26, 2023.
