The coming Friday, two notable Tollywood films are going to lock horns at the box office. Ravi Teja’s action drama Dhamaka and Nikhil Siddharth’s romantic entertainer 18 Pages will test their luck with the audience.
Dhamaka is carrying good buzz as the action-packed teasers and trailers managed to grab the attention of moviegoers. Ravi Teja’s energetic performance and Sree Leela’s glamour will be the selling points for this commercial potboiler. ‘Nenu Local’ director Trinadha Rao is known for blending entertainment and mass elements in a good portion in his films and Dhamaka is likely to be another such attempt to impress audiences during the Christmas season.
Nikhil Siddharth, who is on a career-high with the stupendous success of Karthikeya 2, is also aiming big with his next film 18 Pages, a romantic entertainer coming from the stables of Sukumar’s home banner and Geetha Arts 2. Palnati Surya Pratap of ‘Kumari 21F’ is the director for this film which has its script penned by Sukumar. The emotional trailer evoked a positive response from moviegoers and created decent hype for the film. The hit pair of Nikhil and Anupama Parameshwaran will be another takeaway for the film.
Both Dhamaka and 18 Pages will have slight competition from dubbing films ‘Connect’ and ‘Laththi’ which are releasing a day earlier on December 22nd.
