Powerstar Pawan Kalyan fulfilled two long pending obligations at a time by signing one film. Long ago, he took a token advance from Mythri Movie Makers, a renowned production house of Tollywood which has been aggressively making films in the last few years and promised to do a big-budget film for them. Due to other busy commitments and political assignments, Pawan didn’t find adequate time to do a film for them. Neither did he return the advance sum. He kept on deferring his obligation. But, Mythri Movie Makers waited patiently for Pawan to accommodate his dates.
On the other side, Pawan also promised to do another film under the direction of Harish Shankar after Gabbar Singh. But, he couldn’t keep his promise over the years due to his busy schedule. Last year, a film titled Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh was announced formally by Harish Shankar and Mythri Movie Makers. But, the project got delayed indefinitely as Pawan got busy with his political commitments. There were several reports that the project might be shelved as Pawan is going to embark on a political tour in anticipation of assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh.
Putting an end to all speculations, he signed the dotted line and attended the formal launch of the project which is re-titled Ustaad Bhagat Singh. Practically, there is no time for Pawan Kalyan to shoot for Harish Shankar’s project because he has committed to do three other films, and also he is gearing up for a political yatra very soon. Still, he gave the go-ahead signal to this project only to fulfill the long pending obligations he has given to both the production house and the director.
There is no clarity on when will Pawan Kalyan allot dates to commence shooting for this film. But for time being, he is relieved of his pending obligations.
