The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jaganmohan Reddy is visiting the constituency of Narsapur in West Godavari District on Monday and the entire focus is shifted to the MP candidate for the 2024 polls.
It is a known fact that the sitting MP of Narasapuram, Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju has become a rival to the CM right from the beginning of his tenure. With time, the rivalry went far and the latter made RRR suffer immensely by making his arrest and being beaten by Policemen crudely. Since then, RRR has been targeting Jagan and his party even though he won on the same party ticket and left no chance to breathe fire. In this regard, it is obvious that Jagan will not give RRR the MP ticket yet again. As Jagan will be in the constituency, sources close to him reveal that he would take a call to finalize the candidate for the next elections. Initially, the names of ex-Congress leaders like Gokaraju Ganga Raju were in consideration but the YSRCP Chief is keen on giving the chance to former Minister Kanumuri Bapiraju. Anyhow, one has to wait for an official update from the ruling party.
On the flip side, Political enthusiasts are betting big on Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju’s future political party. Some say he might join BJP whereas many say that the MP is more interested in joining Janasena considering his support to Pawan Kalyan in the recent couple of years. For sure, RRR proved that he is the real thorn in Jagan’s flesh.
