The state minister of education, Botsa Satyanarayana has made some ground-shattering comments on the ongoing Padayatra by the Amaravati farmers.
He opined that the padayatra has stopped and it will not resume at any cost. The ruling party YSRCP is doing everything in its hands to create hurdles for the farmers of Amaravathi who have been doing the Padayatra for a single capital and the state police are directed to take charge in halting them whenever they get a chance.
Recently, the padayatra was stopped by the DGP questioning the authentication of farmers who don’t carry identification cards issued by the government.
Now Botsa in his latest press conference declared that the government with the help of police has found that only 70 members among 500 plus people who are marching didn’t have identity cards and now they are denied permission to continue.
In this regard, the minister claimed that the yatra is nothing but the conspiracy of the opposition TDP and its leaders to mold voters against the YSRCP.
Botsa announced that the state government is forming a Joint Action Committee to press the need for decentralization of power and bring some motivation to the state’s voters to understand the necessity of making Visakhapatnam the executive capital.
One has to wait and see if farmers get a favorable verdict from the High Court or not to continue the padayatra against the three capitals.
