Nitish has severed ties with the BJP for the second time in eight years. Nitish Kumar met with MPs and MLAs in the morning to discuss the possibility of leaving the BJP. Later, it was agreed to cut off communication with the BJP. From there, Nitish Kumar traveled to Raj Bhavan and handed Governor Phagu Chauhan his resignation.
