Tensions are high in Nuzvid, Krishna district. Over the development of Nuzvid, a war of words has been exchanged between the TDP and YSRCP for the last ten days. Recently the leaders of the two sides threw mutual challenges for a public discussion at the Gandhi square. Police arrested TDP leader Muddaraboina Venkateswara Rao in connection with the incident. YCP MLA Meka Pratap Apparao has been placed under house arrest.
