The survival drama 2018 which was released almost three weeks ago is creating a sensation at the box office.
The gripping narration and the thrilling elements in the film which are inspired by true events enthralled the audience to the core. With good positive word of mouth, this film has created history by becoming the highest-grosser minting nearly 150 crores in just 17 days. Not stopping there, this film is yet to achieve one more feat by the end of the day. 2018 is going to emerge as the second-highest-grosser by surpassing the magnum opus Baahubali-The Conclusion lifetime collections.
As per the reports we have, this film has collected 72 plus crores at the box office in Kerala and is just a step behind Baahubali-2 with 73 crores. Mohan Lal’s all-time industry hit Puli Murugan is in the first position with 78.5 crores and the trade analysts were expecting that 2018 will surpass that record by this weekend.
