Touted to be a film based on survival drama, this has enthralled the audience to the core with its brilliant narration and screenplay. 2018 has becomes the fastest Malayalam film to entire into the elite club of 100 crores in just 11 days. Previously this record was in the name of Lucifer, where Mohanlal played the lead role. With thumping collections at the box office, 2018 surpassed Lucifer collections just by one day before. 2018 has also been recorded as one of the all-time highest grosser of the Malayalam film industry by standing next to Mohan Lal’s Pulumurugan and Lucifer.
As per the reports, it is heard that 2018 has collected over 50 crores in Kerala and rest of the India. This film showcases the brave efforts and sacrifices of the citizens along with the government in rescuing the victims. This film features Thomas, Asif Ali, Kunchacko Boban, Vineet, and Lal in the lead roles. Jude Anthony directed this film.
