On Wednesday, a garment factory in the Brandix Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in the Atchutapuram region was affected by a gas leak. As per the sources, up to 121 female workers in the Anakapalle district were transported to various hospitals after complaining of nausea, vomiting, and shortness of breath and some of them even fainted at the scene. Reacting to this, the Andhra Pradesh government ordered a high-level probe into the matter.
