Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu recently visited Visakhapatnam, where he inspected the Rishikonda Palace. Following his visit, senior YSRCP leader Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy responded to Naidu’s comments, stating that the Chief Minister appeared pleased with the structures built under Jagan Mohan Reddy’s administration. Sajjala condemned opposition claims that these buildings were constructed solely for Jagan’s personal luxury, calling them misleading.
“If they believe the Rishikonda Palace truly belongs to Jagan, they should simply transfer ownership to him,” Sajjala remarked, adding that the Assembly buildings erected under Naidu’s leadership reflect the nature of his governance. He further alleged that while Jagan Mohan Reddy has not engaged in illegal constructions, Chandrababu himself resides in an unauthorized riverbank property.
Sajjala made these comments at the swearing-in ceremony for Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, who was appointed YSRCP President for the Tirupati and Chittoor districts. The event was attended by other senior YSRCP leaders, including Y.V. Subba Reddy and Roja.
