The YSRCP ranks, who were already creating a ruckus during Jaganmohan Reddy’s tours, again created a ruckus at the Vijayawada jail during the release of the accused in the liquor case. After the ACB court granted bail to Krishnamohan Reddy, Dhanunjay Reddy and Balaji Govindappa on Saturday, the jail authorities were ready to release them on Sunday morning.
However, in the meantime, YSRCP leaders and ranks created a ruckus at the jail with shouting and screaming. The jail authorities completed the entire process to release them as per the rules and released them at 9:30 am on Sunday morning. But in the meantime, YSRCP leaders and ranks created a tense atmosphere there with their unruly behavior.
Ambati Rambabu, Devineni Avinash, Narayanamurthy, Vellampalli Srinivas, Malladi Vishnu, Talashila Raghuram, their followers and YSRCP legal cell lawyers created a commotion in front of the jail with shouts and screams. They sat on the road and shouted slogans against the government and the jail authorities.
They created a ruckus by slamming the jail doors. No matter how hard the jail authorities tried to calm them down, they were not interested in listening to them. The accused inside the jail also created a ruckus. They pretended to bang Govindappa Balaji’s head against the wall and made a commotion with loud shouts.
Even though the jail authorities tried to persuade them and explained the rules, they did not listen. Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, who was arrested in the same case and is in jail, is more agitated than Govindappa Balaji, Dhanunjay Reddy, and Krishnamohan Reddy, who were granted bail.
Ever since Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy was arrested in the liquor case, whenever he was brought to the court or hospital, he kept on shouting, screaming, and cursing. He did the same thing from inside the jail. The YSRCP leaders outside were agitated as the shouting and screaming of Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy and other accused could be clearly heard from inside the jail.
As the jail authorities said, the entire process was completed when the superintendent arrived at 8:30 am and the three accused were released at 9:30 am. The Vijayawada police are investigating the commotion at the jail and the tense situation.
