The Revenue Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Dharmana Prasada Rao has made some sensational yet derogatory comments about Men by generalizing all. His comments while praising women have now set a stage for unwanted controversy.
It has become a habit for the YSRCP leaders and Ministers to slip their tongues quite often and they are becoming more famous for their filthy language in press meets than for the development of the state. Minister Dharmana speaking to the scribes at the Women Welfare Program held at Killipalem in Srikakulam dared to declare Men as Vagabonds. Claiming that Men are good at nothing, they are completely useless at home. He added that they come to meetings only to drink and eat but escape voting. The YSRCP Minister stated that his boss Jagan understood this issue way back and made all the welfare schemes available only for women for their empowerment.
Needless to say, these comments ignited fire amongst Men and many are condemning the Minister for generalizing all Men. Some point out the increased crime rate and rapes of Women, especially under the regime of YS Jagan and his term. Political onlookers advise Dhramana and other YSRCP leaders to think twice before making such comments which would affect the party’s goodwill among the public
