Day by day the strong fortress of YSRCP which won with record seats of 151 in 2019 is crumbling as the leaders one by one express their dissidents and dissatisfaction with the party and some of its leaders. After Sridhar Reddy, it is Yarlagadda Venkatrao’s turn to distance the party.
Yarlagadda Venkata Rao used to be a huge supporter of YSR’s family and he stood loyal to YS Jagan right from the beginning. However, things went south when he lost to Vallabhaneni Vamsi in 2019 in Gannavaram Assembly and since then, he has been treating Vamsi as his enemy. As this is not enough, Vamsi and Nani who won on TDP tickets later joined YSRCP and started troubling the existence of Yarlagadda in Gannavaram district. Nani and Vamsi are known to be thick friends and their acts are now irking him to the core now he almost knew that the ticket will again be given to Vamsi in 2024. Frustrated, Yarlagadda is now looking forward to leaving YSRCP and joining TDP as the high command is not in a mood to support him over Vamsi and Nani.
Even though Yarlagadda Venkatrao was made as the Chairman of Central Cooperative Bank of Krishna District, almost all the power is in the hands of Vallabhaneni Vamsi and his best friend Nani. The duo has been keeping the full control of a major part of Krishna district in their hands and are troubling even their own party leaders. Miffed by them, Venkatrao will soon bid adios to the ruling party, opine the political experts.
