There are rumors that YSRCP leader and former minister Balineni Srinivas Reddy is joining the Jana Sena Party. Responding to these claims, Balineni stated that YSRCP activists are being attacked in Ongole. He emphasized that if anyone wants to take revenge, they should target him directly and warned that he would not tolerate any harm to the activists. He added that any blow to the activists is akin to a blow to himself.
Balineni clarified that he was not intervening to escalate the clashes but criticized the actions of the ruling party leaders as malicious. “Someone is putting up flexis against him and his son. They are spreading rumors that Balineni will join the Jana Sena Party through a Jana Sena leader. Some leaders said there exists allegations of corruption against him and therefore they will not include corrupt people in their party. Are we chasing to join Jana Sena?” commented Balineni.
