The ruling party YSRCP is cleverly making money as much as it can, in the last leg of the term. The state government of Andhra Pradesh has leased super expensive lands for YSRCP as party offices.
Be it the hunger for money or the fact that the growing anti-incumbency had made Jagan and his batch believe they won’t come into power yet again in 2024. So they are favoring themselves and their supporters when they are still ruling. The AP State government which is run by the party YSRCP largely has leased many acres of land to send up new party houses for the blue camp. These lands in all the important cities of the state like Vijayawada, Amaravati, Guntur, Renigunta, Puttaparthi, and many others worth hundreds of crores but they were leased as less as 1000 rupees per year and the duration is for 33 years now. This means, they practically have free party houses on lands worth crores.
Now the same thing is pointed out by the opposition but the ruling government has maximum MLAs and MPs to implement its own rules and contracts. This is observed by the commoners and voters which will only further damage the reputation of YSRCP even further.
